matching the men to Alfred Angelo colors

Ok, I know I am not crazy. I looked on the Alfred Angelo website last year and they had links to mens accessories in all the colors that the dresses come in. They had vests and ties and they also had shoes and purses for the ladies too. Now I go on t he site and I cant find anything but dresses. I have tried google as well but I am having no luck. Can anyone help me with this?

Most tuxedo shops can order vests and ties in just about any color. Take in a swatch (alfred angelo sells them for $6 or $7) and they can usually find something to match it. I do agree though about the alfred angelo website, they need to add more stuff to it. They sell sashes, garters, shoes, veils etc. but have NONE of them on their website!

Let the girls wear neutral shoes of their choice that'll coordinate with the dresses (black, silver, gold, white). There's no reason why they need to match their shoes and purses to their dresses ... do you dye your shoes and purse to match your dress if you're attending a wedding as a guest?

See if Men's Wearhouse or another local tux shop has vests and ties in the colors you want. Although, remember, it's also O.K. for the guys to be in neutral colors (black, silver, champagne, brown, ivory/white). What color does your FI want them to wear? Most guys I know hate wearing colored vests.

My grils are wearing Alfred in Tealness and Men's Warehouse has a vest color that matched perfectly. If you go to Men's Warehouse online you can order a free swatch sample - but we warned its just a printed card its not the actual fabric. But if you just walk into any of their stores and say you want to look at vest colors they wont mind. Also, David's Bridal has a ton of accessories if you are looking for purses or anything for the girls. Again be warned if you order from there online you can't return to the store, you have to pay shipping to send it back and there is a time limit. I know because I have a really cute pair of shoes that wont work with my dress sitting in my room that can't be returned now. lol

If you can't find a vest that matches a fun way to go is get a patterned necktie that will work with your girls color. My cousin did that and it was really fun looking.

Also, if you go to a bridal shop that has AA dresses and also rents tuxes, the shop should have all the AA color swatches. Just match the swatch to the tux vest/tie. This is what we did.

Also, don't go too matchy matchy. IMO, shoes should compliment, not match what you are wearing. My BMs are wearing black dresses and silver shoes of their choice.

I agree with benmel31. Where ever you go for your AA dresses that rents tuxes as well (or atleast works closely with another tux shop) should have colors that closely match AA colors. I'm going with AA as well and the bridal salon in my town works with a tuxedo shop that matches the colors.

Weeeeird. I was going to ask this exact same question! - well, sort of. I wanted to know about the ties. I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the matching colors.
