Bridal Shower Locations

Hi ladies! I know I haven't been on here in awhile what with theknot being blocked at work and the holidays, but I need some help.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a bridal shower location - preferably near Plano/Richardson, can hold 15-20 ladies, allows us to bring in our own food, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I tried my apartment clubhouse, but apparently they've started remodeling and the clubhouse will no longer exist. Everyone I know that lives in Dallas rents an apartment, so someone's house is not an option.

Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks ladies!

I have no idea the cost, or bringing in food, but I've heard a lot of recs for The Chocolate Angel in Richardson.

Why not check with one of your favorite restaurants and see how much some appetizers would be? A lot of places have small rooms or areas they're willing to block off.

you can rent the allen lake side clubhouse or the community center

I think La Madeline will let you bring in your own food, you just have to spend a $25 minimum. It used to mentioned on here, but hasn't in awhile so I'm not sure if that is correct.

I had my shower at the Chocolate Angel but I don't know the cost or anything. And I'm pretty sure you can't bring your own food but you might want to ask. We had a private room and it was really nice.

Maybe one of your friend's apt. complex's club house? Also I believe Austin Ranch has a clubhouse of sorts you can rent without being a resident. Maybe a VFW hall or something like that? I think it will be tricky with the bring your own phone requirement.

There is a tea room on 15th street in downtown Plano that is cute and relatively inexpensive. I don't remember the name, but it will be on your left side when coming from 75.
