Merion vs Overbrook

Hi! I'm new to this board! I'm hoping to have my wedding in May 2013 and am trying to decide between Merion Cricket Club and Overbrook Country Club. I love Merion but its pretty pricey although definitely liked Overbrook as well.  Anyone have any good/bad experiences with either?

    I've been to a baby shower at Overbrook and I thought the food was good and the place was beautiful.  They did a nice job.

    I have just booked my wedding at Merion cricket club this week for June 2013. I liked overbrook as well however my fiance's parents had there reception there, so I wanted to be different. I am a little nervous about Merion bc we have a large amount of people attending so I am worried about the flow up to the ballroom, which is something to think about. However Joanne Jackson is awesome and she is a reason to have a wedding there in itself.

    Have been to some fabulous Cricket Club weddings, no Overbrook experience tho.
