Getting ready to have lunch, clean the bathroom and try to get my mom off of IM. These days talking to friends and family just really stresses me out. Normally I can "forget" the stresses of being here, but them asking questions just brings it all back up to the surface.

aMrs, I think you need wine with your lunch. I'm with you on that, only in reverse. It sounds awful to say, but it's kind of nice being here, not having to worry so much about what's going on at home w/ my parents. Not that I DON'T worry, it's just not in my face 24/7
...For about the next five minutes... then I'm going to finish my wine - I'm drinking old faithful again (Nederburg Reserve Cab) and go snuggle with Jay in the bedroom.
ah Jill, that's one of the stresses. Booze here is way to much $$ to drink. Try $35.99 for a 700 ml of Mt Gay Rum. It is about $17 for a full L in the states.

I'm here. Watching a little argument I got started on TB get blown out of proportion. All the drama of KPS call outs today got me all defensive when a bully started a poll about who wanted to tell a newb to STFU. A couple people agreed with the bully and then I told the bully her actions were mean and unecessary. Now everyone's jumping on her. Kinda fun.

Yeah dude, I'm not like... oh, I don't know... Fischy or anyone...
Jill they do and they are very very good wineries.
see, according to H's explaination, Drinking is a vice. And since we have socialized medicine here, the gov't gets to decide that they don't want to pay for vice related illnesses. Since out-lawing drinking, smoking, and junk food would be shooting themsleves in the foot, they just sin tax the living h3ll out of it to get people to cut back. (a 20oz botle of Coke is $3.95...)
So yeah, instead of spending a little bit of money, we are spending NO money. That has to be helping the economy.

Jill - I like them both a lot. Are you choosing between them or using them both? If you're choosing, I like the first one better because it's a little bit more readable with the whole body of the text being on a lighter surface. But they are both lovely.
Oh and hi, I'm here, a new screen name than I had in the past... I just got home from class about an hour ago and I had some leftover chicago style pizza and a Miller Lite. We got it for my H's friends who like to drink it, but I have decided that I think it's vile. No offense to anyone who likes it, but really not my favorite.
Librarian, I was contemplating using both. I can change the text in the 2nd one to the same as what I used in the first. Think that would help? And hi, I thought you looked familiar!
Hmm. I think it might. On the second one, the hardest thing to read is "Formal invitation to follow" because it's starting to overlap with some of the grass. I do like the font though... maybe there's a way to format it so that that overlap doesn't occur? If changing the text to what is shown in the first one accomplishes that, I think that would work just fine.
Haha, hey OOT. I think we've all done that today. And I know I cursed out the twat who called me huge, then "apologized" through another call out, after admitting that it was the first picture she'd ever seen of me.

Is it just me or does today feel more like a thursday?

Good for you Alix, not neglecting your husband and all of that.
aMrs, that's insane! This will probably make me sound dumb, but doesn't Australia have a good amount of wineries? Why is it so stinkin' expensive?
