Stowe Refunds

Hello!

To former Stowe Brides...has anyone received their deposits back? According to their website, they are going to file lawsuits against those that "defamed the company" and will use that money to pay back brides. So does that mean we have to wait to see if they even win to get our money back? Also, my guess would be that they would not win. We are looking in to taking them to small claims court. Anyone else had any luck?

    I was wondering the same thing. I was going to wait 30 days from the time I sent my initial email to take action. I talked with another vendor last night and he had heard that there were already over 30 lawsuits. If you do small claims court, be sure to have the sheriff hand deliver the summons or whatever, otherwise they can act like they didn't receive it.

    Ryan told me to dispute the charge with my credit card company because that would be the quickest way to get my money back.  My credit card refunded my money after 10 business days...after I had to call twice and then send in copies of emails from Ryan explaining the situation.

    Best of luck to everyone.  Not fun!!!
