    Hello Donna!

That is so cute your FI proposed 3 times. LOL! I'm sure you were wondering, "where's the ring?!". What else do you have to complete before the big day?

@Gift928:  My fiance chose grey because, he didnt want to wear a black tux Undecided.  And I wanted yellow. But I didnt want to put the BMs in black dresses and the grey dresses didnt look good with the guys grey tuxes...so through process of elimination we went with eggplant...lol.  This was one of the hardest things for me to decide on!!!  I will try to post my inspiration boards tomorrow.  The colors sound weird together, but I'm really loving the way its coming together!

Yep, but I still actually have the ring pop he used to propose the 2nd time. We are going to top one of the wedding cupcakes with it and put it on our sweetheart table!

    My to-do list:
    1. book day-of transportation
    2. book our wedding night hotel room
    3. Find one other gift for the BMs
    4. Parents gifts
    5. menus & programs
    6. petal toss cones
    7. candy for candy buffet

I'm sure there are more but those are the major items I can think of!

Cool that you were in drumline!  I am a big library going somebody myself.  LOL!  I love, love to read.  Lately I haven't been able to get to the library as often as I used to but I am a proud on-time carrying library card holder of America.  :)

So you are going to Hawaii for your HM.  Are you going to one island or island hopping?

You mentioned you had to take your gown down 6 sizes.  I assume it is due to weight loss.  If so, congrats!! Going down 6 sizes is amazing!!!

yay to public libraries...lol!  We are just going to the Big Island...My FI brother used to work for a Hawaiian (sp?) cruise line and recommended that one for a more secluded, relaxing, (aka baby-making) time...lol!

And sorry, I get no credit for losing weight...I went the cheap-o route and bought a sample gown that was a size 10.  I would normally need a zero :-/
The SA was nice enough to tell me that even if I bought the gown in a zero, I would still need alterations, so we just went for it! It only cost me $175 in alterations!  That bridal shop truly does rock, I was willing to pay full price for the same gown and they talked me out of it!

@MarryingmyKnight: We all hated it when we saw it the first time...its not a very realistic depiction of college band life (or highschool band for that matter) but oh well!  We got a really good experience out of it and we all laugh about it now!!!  I try not to stress, I've only had one true bridezilla moment and that was about my invitations!!!  Happy Planning!

Yay for our colors!  I doing something similar:  the GM are in grey, the BM in eggplant, the flowers and some of the decor is yellow!

I would have just had a "local" destination wedding at Hilton Head Island.  Its a small island off the coast of South Carolina near Savannah, Georgia (about 4 hours from Atlanta and about 2.5 hours from Columbia, SC where most of FI family lives).

Hawaii was chosen by default...lol!  My FI passport application needed additional proof of identity.  His mom was born overseas (military) and he has never had a job with a paycheck (barber and still in school)...we didnt want to chance it not going through so we had to stay local.  Of course it was approved 2 weeks after we booked the honeymoon <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-undecided.gif" border="0" alt="Undecided" title="Undecided" />!

We definitely could have gotten more bang for our buck with an all-inclusive type place but fortunately we got a good deal through Jetsetter.

    #proudsupporterofpubliclibraries...lol!

Make that three! :) There is nothing better than checking out a book at the library! Donna I do love those colors - I think charcoal and yellow make a great contrast. Are you having a big wedding party?

@faithlady: thanks...we are having a relatively small wedding party...4 BMs, 2 GMs... 2 of his best friends are in the military and won't be able to make it.  He refused to include other GMs for the sake of having even sides...lol...but I agree)! And no FG or RB...
