Hey ladies. You all have been so helpful. I know this has been asked before, but I'm having problems with the search! Can any of you recommend your hair stylists/florist in the Poughkeepsie area?

    We used Flowers by JoAnn out of Washingtonville. JoAnn was wonderful, the flowers were beautiful, and she worked with our budget. If you're looking for someone closer, we also met with Lucille of Lucille's Floral Designs in Fishkill, and she was great, too! I have no doubt that if we had gone with her, she would have done a great job.

    I had my hair and makeup done in New Paltz, since that's where I'm from, but I can give you the names if you're interested.

    We used Flowers by Lucille / Lucille Floral Design in Wappingers Falls.

    Great price and great to work with.

    I got my hair done in Orange County by my stylist but my MOH used Appearance Day Spa/ Salon for her wedding and was very happy with them.

    I'm also looking for hair/makeup vendors in Poughkeespie.  So I'll piggy back on your query and add a question. 

    What are your thoughts on Marlene Weber Day Spa, route 44 near Adams and the Pastry Garden?  I used to go to that salon  when I lived in Poughkeepsie.  However, I've been out of the area for the last 5 years and I've heard it has gone a bit down hill.

    Flowers -- Greencottage in High Falls -- Dennis was amazing.

    Make up -- Meredith Hayman. She travels and was fabulous to work with.
