How are you??

How was everyone's weekend?  Have any fun?  Get anything done?

I did lots of Ithaca stuff with FI because I'm taking him to NYC next weekend for a 9-week long internship!  Yay for job opportunities, boo for a limited long-distance relationship.  So we went to the Ithaca Festival and Farmer's Market on Saturday and then went tanning and hiking at Buttermilk Falls State Park on Sunday.  And we briefly went into an antique store with some really great furniture that I will be hitting up after the wedding.  :-)

fun fun! I was Ithaca this weekend!
WE had a busy weekend we went to check on cottage and had dinner and some wine on the deck at wagners for pub night, then headed over the hill for Ithaca fest, we saw Sim on friday and then went over to castaways for gunpoets later.  I lived in Ithaca for 5 years and one of my great friends who has since moved away was back in town so he got to meet my fiance for the first time, I lvoe going back to Ithaca

Saturday we had brunch @ Belhurst and got to check our room out set up for a wedding (kind of it was rainy so they hadn't done a full set bc they were likely going to have to move ceremony inside) so kind of a bummer but still we got a better idea and it was the first tiem in in-laws saw it and brunch was good.  I took lots of pictures and then we went to club 86 and tasted cake and I fell in love with LOri, so I'm pretty sure we have our cake picked out.

Next it was off to St. Stephens to see the church and they were having their family fun carnival to we wandered there for a bit, it was a busy day.  Of course we hit up the outlets since we were all the way up there too.

Sunday we worked out butts off at the house since we decided to travel the state friday and saturday and did no work but I'd say we're about 2 weeks away from being pretty well settled. (inside anyways, the yard and outside need major work next, gotta have some curb appeal to get the apt rented)

I finally feel like the house is coming together and I'm actually able to think about weddign stuff, saturday was the first time I felt like we were actually planning a wedding!

Awesome!  I didn't see many performances at the Festival except for one band performing while we were at the Wine Garden (not much of a garden!).  Mostly we just walked around the craft booths on Saturday after the rain.

Congrats on settling into the house!

I worked my first weekend of the summer, and it was super boring. We are only open weekends from Memorial Day through the end of October, and we alternate who works. It was weird to me that a Visitor's Center would be dead on the weekend when we are normally so busy during the week.

I'm so freaking exhausted.  I worked Saturday morning until 1 and then had to go to Binghamton for my stepbrother's college graduation.  OMG I did my first keg stand ever (even though I graduated from college in 2004).  I wasn't happy with my time, so I did a second one.  Wow, I can't hang like that anymore.  Then we had a confirmation party yesterday followed by a bbq.  My brother was home from Arizona, that was the best part!
