    The best way to get a view in NYC is to be across the water. Riverview in LIC is reasonable and beautiful & the view is amazing.

    Thank you both, you may have solved a major thorn in my side :) trying to book a restaurant in a foreign city for a meal im goin to eat in two weeks time..odd thing to do.

    Now dont susppose you know of any karaoke bars that let 12 year olds in - wed love to book a booth and have a good old sing..but are coming up against it with that too.
