The deadline to purchase their dress was August 31st...See how it's October now? Lol...Well she was kind enough to send me a TEXT message telling me she cannot afford to be in the wedding right now...Ok cool. Thanks for the update b/c the last few weeks she kept pretending to be ordering the dress -_-
The crappy part is that I've already ordered her Personalized gift, so I will still give it to her but I could've saved a lil $$$. But thats one less bouquet I have to buy :D

    LMAO @ bolded.   it's craptastic for sure, but i'm glad she said *something*   maybe she was embarassed and just dragging out the inevitable or seeing if she could make it work, either way, i'm sorry she won't be up there with you, but better you know now.

    Me personally, I would not give her a gift..I mean for what ?! She's not part of the what the bridal party does to help get the bride prepared so why get her a gift for nothing done. your gift to her if she is still coming to the wedding as a guest is for her to eat and drink..right ?! 

    So NO GIFT !!!

    lmbo! MOH said "u betta than me cause she would not get a gift" but the thing is, I've already purchased the gift & the tote has her name & picture on it. No sense in being nasty & keeping it lol. Nothing I can do w/ it besides throw it out.

    I have a friend like that...I expect it.. and if she did do that.. I would be upset.. but totally would expect it..

    Im going to be with her when she orders the dress.. actually I am taking her to the place where I got my dress so she can order it..I'm not taking any chances..lol

    I have (or had) 2 bridesmaid one of them being supposedly my "best friend" lets name her friend X.... so I let X know since September that she was going to be a bridesmaid and I told up front all te costs She said it was fine ... I went in October to pick out the bridesmaid and maid of honor dresses; however, X said she couldn't go b/c she was sick ... Ok fine. So I made arrangements to go the following weekend ... Then when that weekend came up she said "I don't have a ride" .... Ok fine .. And every week I would tell X to go get fitted she would come up with an excuse not to go .... Then yesterday I text her very politely asking her to go because if she doesn't the dresses won't arrive on time (as well as the other dresses b/c they r all ordered at once) ... Then she asked y she didn't get an opinion in picking out the dress b/c the one picked she thought was hideous ! .... Now just yesterday I received a text that stated: "Honestly, I don't want to be apart of the wedding. I'll help you in any way I could, I'll attend but I don't wish to be apart of it. " LIKE WTF?! You tell me this now?!!!! Btw she gave no reason as to why So what do I do with this "best friend" of mine ?
