Unfortunately this "attention" isn't entirely positive, but it could be :-)

My sick uncle (in case you may not have heard me mention it before, he has stage 4 lymphoma) had some complications arise a few days ago. He got pancreatitis but they want to be sure this is just that and not more tumors. They ran all sorts of tests and he is meeting with the doctors in like 20 minutes to see the results. After that convo my cousin will let us all know what is going on and if he is still on track for recovery. We are all a little nervous, so say some prayers y'all!

I'm going to brag about my fiance for a minute here...

He ran the Pittsburgh half marathon yesterday, and finished 38th out of 12,129 runners. His final time was 1:18.23. I'm pretty freakin' proud of him, especially since he a.) beat his time from last year and b.) did it while getting over a head cold.

Emily- that is awesome! To fininsh a marathon is on my bucket list, it will probably take me several hours though.

Well big things have been happening here. We've been clearing out the office and we have plans set to make it a nursery.(currently the walls are dark green and the room is filled with multiple desks, bookshelves and a piano). So that means my upstairs living room is a disaster area. We are also waiting to find out about FI's insurance and if all goes well we will be moving up our wedding date. Most likely to this June, something very small though, We are waiting to find out more information before we move forward with anything WR though.

Also, I should find out Wednesday morning my exact due date and get an ultrasound. We are SO excited!

Still no word yet (killing me!) but thanks for the kind words and I am anjoying reading what you all have going on! :-)

Klyn, excited for your sonogram! My cousin is due in 1 week but she still isn't dilated yet (I think she is waiting for her grandpappy to get out of the hospital to see her come, hehe). Soon enough you will be anxiously waiting to meet your little one at the end of your term :-)

Emily- thats great! I saw all kinds of posts on FB about people's times, apparently a bunch of places had marathons this weekend lol. One of my girl friends actually won the NJ marathon! She is ridiculous.

Oh, I have another! My FSIL had her baby girl yesterday. She is so precious! We were texted telling us she was heading to the hospital, an hour later she had her! This is her 2nd baby, both were done naturally. (She's insane.) FI's family seems to pop out boys like crazy, this is the 2nd girl.

Ash sending thoughts and prayers!

FI and I started the 17 day diet today... It seems like it will be easy to stay on track since every 17 days you switch it up a little. Plus you can cheat on weekends because the weekdays are so strick (or so I hear). Needless to say my lunch consisted of green and red peppers and some strawberries =(

Also - this past weekend I went to the Lady A concert with my 3 younger sisters, my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. They were talking about my aunt who is getting married and I mentioned an idea FI and I had. Well my sister didn't like the idea so she said "I don't want anything to do with this wedding" with a huge attitude. I was speechless since I haven't even asked them for anything nor do I expect them to do anything! I spent the rest of dinner pretty much staring at my phone choking back tears! I did send all three an email apologizing if they feel that I talk about my wedding too much. I know they aren't at this point in their lives so they don't understand that it's almost like a second full time job that consumes all of your time & it's pretty exciting! We haven't really spoken much since except for a few random texts here and there so I'll be interested to see if they show up for dress shopping on Saturday.

I don't have much to brag about today. I had a crappy weekend and pretty draining day at work. My only bragging point, if you can call it that, was that my mom and aunt got too drunk on Saturday night and we never quite made it to the hot tub. So I didn't have to take any flack about my chubbiness. They're ridiculous when they get together, I swear.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! This was on the door to my classroom when I got to work at the preschool today:

The directors decorated all the teacher's doors over the weekend! They all had a different "theme" and were absolutley adorable! I love my job so much!

Oh I have so much this week! I've been missing from TK for almost a week because I've been super busy. FI moved down to my house a few days ago, and we're making a lot of progress on our trailer. Hopefully, we'll be moved in there in a few weeks.

We've also been on the job hunt, and things have really turned around for the better. FI got an offer at a winery, accepted it, got a better offer at Dillard's, turned down the winery, accepted the Dillard's offer, got an even better offer at a Pepsi plant, turned down Dillard's, and starts at Pepsi tomorrow morning! It's weird to be annoyed when people call and want to interview him.

It's finals week, and I only have 2 tests to take. I'll be done for the semester on Tuesday and will be turning in my graduation application when I go to school because I graduate in December!

Also, I have wedding news, but I'll save it until Wednesday.

I am going dress shopping this weekend. We will be looking at bridal dresses but I also want to get a couple of my bm in some dresses too. I want to see what's out there and what style the girls are leaning towards. So i bought some cheap fake flowers at walmart to just make a simple bouquet to hold up against the dresses to get a good idea and my friend, Brooke took the flowers and made them for me. I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I was even just going to stick them in a toliet paper roll covered in ribbon and call it a day. But look at what she made!!! I cant believe how great they look.

I haven't done anything cool, but FI played in a benefit Scrabble tournament tonight called Scrabble with the Stars. Of course, they're Canadian stars, so I only knew who one person was, Colin Mochrie from Whose Line Is It Anyway. FI was a ringer, so people could donate money to get his help in finding a word to play.

Not much to AW about (a day late) but I found out last night that one of my really close friends isn't moving to Cali! Her husband is in the coast guard and they were supposed to move right around the time their baby is due. But now his orders got changed and they're staying in Boston! So now I get to spoil their little one for a while

Update: It seems that all signs are pointing to the pancreatitis being its own thing unrelated (good news!) so he is going in for surgery today to get a stent put in to remove any blockage that is likely causing him all the pain. Thank you everyone!
