Glass Cylinders Anyone?

We have searched high and low and cannot find glass cylinders in the size that we are looking for.  Well, we did find them online but shipping was $350 so those were quickly crossed off.

Wondering if any of you happen to have any glass cylinders for sale after your wedding....but before mine on 9/16/11.  I am looking for 12" tall and about 8" wide....this will have seashells in the bottom with a pillar candle in the center.

Thanks so much!

The cylinders would be cute, but maybe you could look into another option?  I really think that a plate with sand and shell and candle in the center would be adorable, or does the flame need to be under the rim for the Budleigh?

Did you check shindigs rentals (also owned by the Fearings?)  I see that they have 11" cylinders for rent but I don't know what the width of those is...

That's a pretty big vase.  Here's a 6"x12" cylinder.  I ordered my vases from Candles4Less and they were much cheaper even with the shipping included.  Google around for a coupon code too.

I know that you're probably set on exactly what you want, but here is something worth looking at.  They're pretty large, and a BEAUTIFUL centerpiece that a friend of mine used for her wedding.  You can order the candles in whatever color you'd like from a different site... and maybe put sand underneath the bottom with seashells (possibly around them)?  They'd make great gifts for parents or wedding party, also, post-ceremony.

    Super inexpensive too for sets...

AH!  They have vases too, but they're definitely not nearly as cost effective...

OBX - it's worth checking out Christmas Tree Shoppes if you have those in the area, or even Michael's or AJ Moore craft shops. Sometimes you can luck out and find what you need there. Other than that, I got nothing...

LOL...I meant 8"x12" which is very close to the ones you ordered.  I really like those too!  What are you using yours for?

I just wonder if the candle of 3" will allow enough room to put shells around the candle but not look too smothered??

I actually ordered 4x4 squares for vases for my hydrangeas.  I am alternating tables with the hydrangeas and hurricanes with candles, sand and shells.  I think you might be ok.  I'm doing hurricanes with the same set up as I think you're doing.  I picked up pillar candles and noticed that they are actually 2.8".  Home Goods has great prices on glassware, but they are hit and miss on what they have.  World Market is worth a try too.
