Newbie Introduction!

Hi ladies!

My name is Krystal and my fiance Ed and I are getting married Sept 20th, 2012 on Oahu in HI. It'll be just the two of us on the beach and I'm so excited.  As much as I'd LOVE a big family wedding,  saving for our house is more important (and we agreed that I can have the BIG wedding for our 10yr anniversary ;-)! its all about compromising lol).  We're going to have a small cocktail party for our closest family and friends upon our return that way we'd be able to show our wedding video to everyone at once. I don't have very much to do in the way of planning for the wedding, but I'm narrowing down the party location. Thankfully my cousin is a party planner and is helping me out. I'm excited to get to know you ladies and looking forward to seeing what all of your wedding plans look like!  Enjoy your week!

    osubuckigirl78: We're getting married on Waimanalo beach (windward side)!  We lucked up and our beach cottage for our honeymoon is right down the street lol.     It took about 2 seconds for me to fall in love with this place! I love the eccentricity of Captn. Howie, I can already tell we're going to have so much fun with him at our ceremony.  We chose the Pukalani Falls/Angels Bay package, pics in both locations and ceremony on the beach.

    We're getting married on Waimanalo Beach.  It took about 2secs to fall in love with this place.  We chose the Pukalani Falls/Angels Bay package, pics at both locations and ceremony on the beach.  Our beach cottage is right down the street so its like a 2min drive to get there. I Google mapped it and Captn. Howie, our officiant was right about the Hobbit House being across the street from the beach!  I was worried that I'd have to hike in the mud or something crazy like that.  I look at this site at least once a week lol and my desktop backgroud is a slide show of surfing and waves, getting in a tropic state of mind lol.

    osubuckigirl78: what about you? which beach are you getting married on and what service, if any, are you using?
