Creative Baltimore Venue

Hi, everyone!  My fiance and I just got engaged and we're planning to tie the knot in June or July of 2011 in Baltimore.  We're hoping for an indoor venue for about 100 for a seated meal with a dance floor.  Our budget is very limited and we're hoping to find a space for about $1500 - $2500.  I know that venues in the city tend to be more expensive, but we're city dwellers and would really prefer to keep the wedding centrally located.  We're looking for something with an urban vibe and we're open to a space that's not your typical wedding site in order to keep things cheaper.  Any ideas for an off-the-beaten-path wedding venue?

If the budget you quoted is for the room alone, and not including food, I think this will fit - I think it would depend on date and which room you wanted.  We looked at the 1840s Ballroom.  Each of the floors has a different feel to it... I thought the City Lites room was pretty cool.

Also try the American Visionary Art Museum. Fabulous!

I got married at the AVAM and it was amazing!! We found it to be just our style and all of our guests were blown away!! Good luck and check it out! Everyone we worked with at the AVAM and on their lists of preferred venders were wonderful!
