I want to start in late July/early August in the hopes of getting in 3 fittings before my 9/1 wedding. 

Since the Summer/Early Fall is the height of the bridal season I figured I better book early.  When are you booking your fittings? 

I am thinking to call in May and set up my dates. 



Love is the ultimate superpower.

    I was just thinking about this a few hours ago. I'll probably call within the next 2 months to set mine up.

    ETA: with the intention of the 1st fitting being in July.

    I actually have this on my list of to-do's this week. I will call to schedule my fitting for July. The salon said to call 4 months out to schedule the first fitting because they book up so quickly. Otherwise, I would have waited until my dress came in (May) to schedule it.

    Oh boy. I have now had 2 dress-fitting nightmares (one I forgot to do it at all, the other, I don't remember the details but basically it didn't fit in a really insane way, like, the torso was sewn down the center or something). I feel like I should call soon and try to get in sometime in...July? Late June even?

    I'm getting married on 9/22 and I am doing two fittings in two days.  I live in a different town than my dress so we're doing them in one weekend.  I have a great local seamstress.  I'm trying to lose weight so I wanted to push it as late as possible.  I'm doing them on 9/1 and 9/2

    I have my first fitting for alterations July 6 (dress doesn't come in until May).  I called late Jan/early Feb to book my appointments because the lady here comes HIGHLY recommended and books up quickly.  I'm glad I called when I did, a knottie on my local board posted a few days later saying that there were no more openings for Sept brides.
