I'm doing it - I'm "Trashing the Dress!"

Ever since I met with Jenni (Forever Yesterday), I have been intrigued with the whole idea of the "TTD" shoot...initially, I thought, "why"? But the more I looked at the pictures that she showed us, the more I thought it might be fun to have a shoot after the wedding, without the worries over getting the dress dirty...where I could sit, and do some things that I would never have done in my dress (and did not do) on my actual wedding day....

So, after thinking about it (and also wanting to do it while I can still fit the dress!) I have decided to do it!!!

Even though we opted to go with Perskie for our wedding photos, we loved Jenni, and I had a feeling that I would definitely use her for other things...and so, the TTD shoot is scheduled for later this month, and hubby and I are also going to do a newlywed shoot with her in early fall...but I have to say, I am "trashing" the dress alone, as hubby said that I couldn't pay him to put on a tux again this close after the wedding...lol

I don't want to actually "trash" my dress (for example, going in water or anything - it cost too much!), but I do want to do some more creative shots which would involved poses/props/sitting on ground, etc. that  I wouldn't have done on my wedding day before the reception...

So, ladies...anyone else taking the TTD plunge?

That's exactly what I mean! That joker cost too much to intentionally damage, but we are going to have some fun being a model for a while...lol...In fact, we just spoke (the photographer and I) and I'm going to do a historic Baltimore theme...Mt. Vernon, the Washington Monument, a great old church with red doors, and then down to the harbor to pose with the Constellation and the Coast Guard boats....I am super excited!!!

Can't wait to share the pics!

Her name is Jenni Combs, and she owns "Forever-Yesterday" photography! Her prices are extremely reasonable; she even has an a la carte, by the hour rate now! We met with her after getting so many wonderful recommendations on the knot, but in the end, we decided to go with a photographer that we had talked to first...but Jenni is such a wonderful person, and I loved her style so much that I knew I would work with her again...I would highly recommend her :-) Here is her info:

    email: jenni@forever-yesterday.com
    website: www.forever-yesterday.com

Good luck! If you meet her, you'll definitely like her :-)

I am sooo excited about our session...it's probably gonna be a cross between an after wedding bridal session and a TTD...but again, that will mostly be me in some interesting and fun poses that I wouldn't have done either before or on my wedding day ;-)

I can't wait to share the results with you knotties!
