Because I'm bored on this Valentine's Day at work...
What are everyone's wedding colors? How are you incorporating them? Like, is one color your bridesmaid dress, another all your flowers and decorations?
My colors are orange, with pops of turquoise and red. Bridesmaid Dresses are turquoise, mens ties are orange, flowers in bouquets and cake and everything else are orange, and all the decorations are mainly orange with some red and turquoise. I took advantage of having the one day I could to be as orange as possible!
Re: Wedding Colors
I'm not sure on decorations yet but most of that will be Ivory I'm thinking
Flowers are Ivory Pink and minty color
Vintage inspired colors not a vintage wedding
A lot of people have been surprised we aren't doing an accent color but we dicussed it at length and just really couldn't find anything that worked for us. I really think that while it's not traditonal (ie not having something contrasting) it's going to be very us and very beautiful. I'm excited
BMs dress is green. The boys ties are green and their shirts ivory.
My dress is ivory. The flowers are green and ivory together.
The tablecloths are ivory with a green runner. The centerpieces have a fat green ribbon and then a thin ivory ribbon on top of it.
The invitations were a green pocket fold with ivory inserts and envelopes.
Green and Ivory paper lanterns hanging in the reception space.
I'm sure there's more I just can't think of it. But essentially I'm incorporating both colors on most things.

April 2013 Siggy Challenge: Bridesmaids Dresses
The MoH is in yellow and the flower girls are in blue. I would have loved the MoH to be in blue as well, but David's Bridal couldn't even come close to matching our pastel blue - it was all either navy blues, neon blues, or dusty blues. Not a single pastel blue in the bunch! I'm going to have the flower girls have yellow flowers and yellow flower clips in their hair. The MoH is going to have yellow & blue flowers with a blue ribbon, and we found some really cute blue & yellow jewelry. (OK, it's prom jewelry, but it'll help tie everything together so we're going with it.)
Our overlays at the reception are pale blue (on a white tablecloth) and the flowers will be blue hydrangeas with yellow ranunculous and white flowers that look like mini daisies We're tying apple green raffia around the top of the vases.
58 invited
20 can't make it
RSVP Deadline: March 8th
Our centerpieces will be pretty much incorporate the same flowers as the bouquets. I'm thinking we are going to stick with purple napkins with ivory linens.
Also, a random accent that was incorporated into my wedding by accident was pearls.I ended up picking accent pieces that happened to have pearls. My dress has pearls on it and some of my jeweley and small pearls on my veil. I bought my girls all pearl jewelry. Our cake topper and cake cutter also has tiny pearls in the handles and our cake will decorated around the edges in pearls as is our card box. Our invitations even have an ivory pearl like sheen.
The girls dresses, the GM's ties and vests are light pink, my bouquet and centerpiece flowers are blush, ivory and peachy with foliage, the table runners are 2 shades of green. The girls are carrying clutches and I think they're going to end up being a neutral-ish type of grey, because they all picked out grey shoes.
Our colors are charcoal grey, fuchsia pink, baby pink, accents of whites and creams
Girls bouquets are mixtures of pinks, grey brunia berries and dusty miller leafs
Girls are wearing charcoal grey with awesome fuchsia pink shoes!
Flower girls are wearing blush pink ruffled dresses with a charcoal grey sash/tie thing. They are adorable dressed from etsy!
Guys are wearing tuxes (but toned down to look more like a suit)-- hot pink ties, hot pink ranunculus roses with grey brunia berries and dusty miller leafs, no vest, no pocket square and suspenders
We are buying them charcoal grey and hot pink argyle socks from express
The colors in bouquets will go into the ceremony jars, centerpiece jars... We also have 5 all centerpieces which are either going to be cherry blossom branches or quince branches (more of the hot pink color) Each jar is decorated with a rustic accent and/or baby pink, fuchsia pink, charcoal grey ribbon.
We have a lot of grey accents including our straw with baby pink flags that say Christine and frank with our date and eat, drink and be married.
Escort cards are all three colors, the clothespins for where they are hanging from are all three colors..
Accents on candy buffet are all three colors "love is sweet" burlap sign lettering in grey hearts in baby pink.
Mrs and mrs burlap chair signs the letter is in grey.
