Ladies, I need your help.
I booked a hotel via Hotwire.com for our vacation in a couple of weeks. We are going to Chattanooga, TN. On Hotwire, they tell you which hotel after you book, which is the Sheraton Read House in downtown Chattanooga. Very beautiful and much nicer than I have ever stayed at.
I found out that the hotel has valet parking at $15/night, unlimited in/out parking. I was not expecting this. It adds up to $75 for the week just in parking. Since I bought the cancellation insurance, I could go in, cancel this reservation, and choose another hotel that has free parking, but is about $20 more per night for the reservation. When I ran the numbers, it would come out to a $35 difference in hotels.
Location does not really matter, since we will be all over the place seeing things.
So...would you stay with the first reservation, or try your luck again with another hotel?
