Need your suggestions on my vases & pom size (& ***jamers***)

Happy Friday!!

I need constructive criticism on my idea for the poms.
I posted the other day the pics that I am going for. Mine will be a little different.. My vases are 7 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" diameter.
The poms that Jamers is going to get for me are 4 1/2" dia and with the added carnations I am guessing overall that will add about 3-4". My cutout paper is 7 1/2" dia, so it might be about 1/2-1" smaller than the actual pom. After Jamers gets me these poms, I am going to do a test & I'll post pictures and ask for your opinions again.
Here is what I am "kinda" going for: (the 3rd pic is more like what I think mine are going to look like)

pom w/hook

pic 2, will not have stuff in vase & my vases are smaller

pic 3, I think this is more like what it will look like.

pic 4. I wish my decor could look like this. it's so pretty! But thats too much time & money.

Here's what my idea looks like so far: (sorry - it's cheesy)

I just want to know if you all think the size will be right? Do you think i've got something here, or is it crappy?

I think it looks fine.  I know ZERO about flower arrangements, but I do like the arrangement in pic #3.  The centerpiece isn't too tall or too short.

i think you should be fine with the 4.5" ones. I think the 3" ones will be too small, and anything over 4.5" will be too big. but i dont know a whole lot about flower arrangements either.

I think the 4.5" ones should be perfect. My Co-worker thought the 6" ball would be better but all said & done with the flowers in the ball it'd be like 9" wide, that's way too big for this 7" vase....

Jamers - Will you call/text me tomorrow with the prices on the ones with the net and one without the net?

    Thanks,

I hope mine look as good as those ones... I wont have the flower in the vase like that one does. I think I am going to either leave them empty or let the ribbon (from being on the hook) swirl & dangle into the vase. Or put some rhinestones in there - but that means spending more money...

when i made pomanders with tissue paper, i used 4in balls.. my pomanders are like 9inches in diameter now. it really depends on how big you want them to be, carnations will probably add 2inches so if 8.5 across is good, go with that size, if not, go smaller or bigger.

I like the empty vase looks and its easier on the budget :)

I think 4.5" is the way to go ... tall and thin looks classier IMO. And I think some sort of decoration for the vase ... either let the ribbon dangle or rhinestones or pebbles or whatnot ... adds a nice touch.

And #3 is definitely the best of the bunch ... you have good taste :).
