a loooooong time ago someone (can't remember who) talked about having their DH pull a bunch of random stuff, including a rubber chicken, out from under their dress during the garter pull.  i told FI about this and he LOVED the idea, so we totally stole it.  haha

my question now is, how are you getting all the stuff to stay under your dress without it being noticeable?  i'm devising a pouch type thing on elastic to strap around my leg to hold everything but my dress doesn't have a crinolin or any extra poofy-ness so i'm concerned the stuff pouch will be noticeable :-/ 

also, the rubber chicken i got has a squeeker so that could end up being really funny lol

    Haha, this is great! So the other night FI was talking about when he does my garter he's wants to pull out granny panties! HA! I don't know how I will react if he really does it, but he's such a joker everyone would love it and it's totally his personality...

    How many items are there? Any small enough to fit in FI's pockets? Maybe you could just put the rubber chicken strapped to your leg and other items on him so it wouldn't be too bulky and noticeable under your dress?

    My FI is going to get his hunting head lamp on and we are playing mission impossible, or the jaws theme song. We just wanna do something funny and hope everyone enjoys it and dont look bad on us for being funny. love youre idea

    i'm planning to make an elastic strap for around my thigh and strapping the chicken to the elastic with some velcro so FI  (i mean... DH teehee) can remove it easily.  then there'll be a little pouch that we'll have some scarves tied together (like a clown or magician haha) that he'll keep pulling and pulling and some rubber balls will come out with it.

    then he'll take off the actual garter

    we haven't even told our parents, it'll be a funny surprise for everyone!

    My sister did this at her wedding. We just snuck the bag of stuff under her chair when no one was paying attention.

    ;) That was me!  I’m going to put the chicken, a giant pair of sunglasses, condoms (gasp!), and granny panties under my garter.

     

    If you are using chair covers you can stick the items under the chair.  That way he can reach under and grab them.

    I once saw pictures of a girl who blindfolded her FI, and then sat on the lap of one of the groomsmen who pulled up his pantleg so when FI went i for the kill he was feeling a huge hairy leg... that actually looked pretty funny too.. :)

    I just talked with our DJ about this. She did a wedding once where only the bride and groom were in on this. And they had the DJ stand right next to the couple while they did the bit. The bride had velcroed (spelling??) all the items to a belt underneath her dress and the groom continued to pull the various items out. When the groom tucked on the DJ's pant leg, that was her cue to say 'Wow, you have everything under there except the kitchen sink' At which point the groom pulled out a barbie kitchen sink :) It would definitely be funny, if pulled off the right way!!
