I found the originals for $795 online and replicas that were very close in look...the only difference was that the back was a strap back opposed to closed back for $195. I am thinking of buying the replicas.

Yep, they're by Christian Louboutin. The bride bought them in Paris. Barney's New York sells a very similar pair (the bows are nearer to the ankle) for $900. Neiman-Marcus also sells this brand.
