Marriage License by Mail

I need advice, I live in Alabama but I am getting married in Florida. I'm looking at getting my marriage license by mail which is offered online to non-florida residents getting married in Florida. I have found about 10 companies that do it online for you has anyone out there done this before and can recommend a company they trust?? I'm a little nervous about giving all my info and my fiance's over the internet to a third party but I really need to save time when I get to Florida before the wedding rather than spending half a day at the courthouse! thanks!!

    We just got our marriage license last week- and it took us all of about 45 minutes.  And since you are not Florida residents, there is no waiting period for the license to be valid. 

    Where are you getting married at?  There are many clerk of the court offices in Pinellas county where we went, and the longest part was reading through the family law handbook. 

    Before you spend additional money to go through a third party to get a marriage license, look into where there are offices in whatever county you will be in in FL.

    Like PP said, I got my license yesterday and the longest part was reading the handbook. It seriously took like 30min, especially if you go right when they open. There was no one infront of us. I would personally wait until you got here to do it instead of going through a third party.

    You go to the clerk's office and it takes like 20 minutes.

    We eloped to Miami from Chicago and got our marriage license by mail with Tropical Miami Beach Weddings (http://www.TropicalMiamiBeachWeddings.com) before we arrived.
