Well, with the wedding less than 2 months away and after much searching, FI and I have found a house to rent! Its a tiny, tiny house, but it has a great kitchen, and my first washer and dryer after 6 years of sharing/coin-operated, and a great location, an even better price, and the landlords seem wonderful. I'm so excited!! I just had to share with you ladies :)

    And a fireplace, please tell me that you have a fireplace!

    My  dream house is one huge room (or loft) with everything in different sections.

    A sleeping loft for when we have extra guests.  And a deep, deep, bathtub.

    Sorry, I was getting all excited about a place I don't even know!

    How about a decorative one? Not for keeping warm, but a pretty mantel for our beautiful statue of Our Lady that I received at my shower on Saturday :)

    btw... to make this Catholic board related... we started a St. Joseph novena for finding a house/apartment on Monday! Those prayers sure worked quickly! Now we're finishing it as a novena of thanksgiving.

    We made up cheers to St. Joseph.  "Joe, Joe, do your stuff, so my commute won't be as tough..."   I think he appreciated the variety and enthusiasm (we were selling a condo, buying a house, and the buyer of the condo had a crazy lawyer- process took way too long b/c of him... so we needed the enthusiasm, too!).

    Congrats!!!!  It is such a huge relief to find a place and not have one less thing to worry about.  I admit... I'm a bit jealous of the free laundry :)  I'm back to coin-operated again!

    I just finished moving all my stuff into our first apartment together last weekend... just a bit of stress right before the wedding :)  The nice thing is that I get it alllll to myself until we're married!
