  Look at reviews on WeddingWire.com. Figure out which ones are outside of your budget. Ask the girls here for recommendations. I only had one trial for each, and I had already picked the person out.

  I heard such great things about Naom's Salon in West Hartford that I booked them before I even had a trial with anyone. They did an amazing job.

  I went with the reviews on the board.  I am using Dana Bartone and Co.  for hair (i will have either Dana or Lauren) Lauren has been great with communication so far via email. They do amazing work for hair. I am not using them for makeup but also heard great reviews. I am using Danielle Santagata for makeup. She did my makeup for my e-pics which came out amazing, I have also been working with her on re-shaping my eyebrows. She is amazing!!!!

  I suggest Katilyn Mathews. She does not charge for a trial and her prices are very reasonable. Plus she will travel to you! She is building her busiess, book her while she is affordable.

  Thanks.  The selection is big and I want someone who can handle my fine hair.  I want half up for the ceremony and then all up for the reception.  I wonder if anyone has a hairdresser who stays with you.

  I have baby fine hair and I'm using Naomi's for hair and makeup. Angela is doing my hair and it came out beautifully at my trial! I was worried but my hair looked like it had fullness and volume. Naomi herself is doing my make up and also did a great job at the trial. I highly recommend them!
