Photographer Recs

Hello ladies,

Yet another question about photographer recommendations......

The photographer I booked over a year ago is no longer doing weddings.  Our wedding is August 7, 2010.   We would like at least 8 hours of coverage; our budget is between 2 to 2.5k.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    I don't have one since I don't have a photographer yet, but if you check a lot of the girls bios and blogs they have good vendor reviews.

    Talk to Tara and Nickole at Fat Catz Photography, they're awesome! You can check out my wedding photos to get a feel for their style - go to www.fatcatzphotography.com, then click on My Photos, then click on the Waters event. The event key is my first name, Alyssa. Our package with them was $2k and we were very happy with what we got for our money. They're also flexible and will switch out items in the package if you want something slightly different.

    I am using Marlyn (Photography by Marlyn). She is awesome and you will get a fabulous package and not even spend your whole budget. Her coverage is for the whole wedding (up to 13 hours) so you shouldn't need to worry about the hours of coverage. You can look on her facebook page to see past weddings she has done. Good luck!

    I am using Derek at Sunshine Photographics.  We are getting over twelve hours for 3,000 dollars with a high end album.

    We are using KWU Weddings and LOVE them! They also shot my friend and coworkers daughters wedding.

    My photographer was Elegant Imagery. They do some really modern and cool photography. As well as the traditional stuff. THey are great to work with! You can find them on Facebook, or they also have a website...

    The artistic photos he does are awesome! I have received so many positive comments on our photos.

    I am using Jessica Leigh in August- we have her for way under a grand but I know she has bigger packages that include much more. She is amazing

    My photog was under 2k- Jenn Hopkins Photography. She's out of Jax but charges like 50 bucks to travel anywhere (I've had other photogs tell me that it would be $200 something to go from Orlando to Tampa). Her stuff is GORGEOUS!

    My photographer is my friend Jamie. She has done several photo shoots for us in the past. She is amazing and does weddings. You can check her out. She is willing to travel and I think she only charges like $100 per hour.

    I sent her a message and she said she is available on August 7 and would even come to Florida without any travel fees. She is in Atlanta. You should send her an email or something (tell her sammie sent you!)
