Wedding Invitation Wording?

I am planing a very small casual beach wedding with just my family & my fiance's family. However, I can't afford to pay for everyone's hotel. I can only pay for my parents and his parents. Is there a correct way to word a wedding invitation that let's our families know that they are welcome to attend, but would have to pay for their own hotel?
Thanks so much!

Why would they think you are paying for their hotel stay?  Part of being invited to a wedding is the expectation that you pay for your own accommodations if travelling.  The bride and groom are not expected to pay for that.

You can list recommendations on a separate card; you can even have a hotel room block.  That's usually as far as you go.
  • I've never heard of a bride and groom paying for their guests' hotel rooms, even at a destination wedding.  I wouldn't mention it at all, as most guests would assume they are paying for their own rooms.

I've never heard of the bride and groom paying for hotel stays? The guests should be more than happy to pay to attend your wedding to support you.
