Affordable Downtown Cleveland Venues

I really want to have my wedding downtown but do not want to spend 100.00 a plate.  I need suggestions on budget friendly venues!  I have 225-280 people and the wedding is 12/31/11. Any Ideas?

Not sure if New Year's Eve would increase pricing at all, but here are some places to consider. Have you checked out Atrium on the Square (catering by Frank & Pauly's)? I think they are closer to $75/pp. House of Blues is in that same range, but on NYE, they may already have a party scheduled. Or, maybe the Union Club on Euclid? No idea on pricing, but maybe the Josephat Arts Hall would work for you? It's a former church, now a rental hall. Taste of Excellence provides catering.

I got married at The Renaissance hotel in down town Cleveland.  The food we chose was $46 - $52/ person.  There were extra fees for items (chair covers, floor length linens...).  All in all I would recommend the place.

I checked out the Hilton Garden Inn on E9 which was between $60-70 a plate.  The outside looks awful but the inside is absolutely beautiful and I was really impressed.  The only reason why I didn't choose it was because we decided to stay on the east side.  One thing to think about with downtown weddings are a lot of places will charge for parking but the Hilton does not.

I'm pretty sure WIndows on the RIver has some affordable prices and I know it can hold that many because I looked there too.
