Which are you doing? I like the look of the wrist but I feel like with it pinned on the chest it sticks out more. You can't see someone's hands across the room.
I would ask them which they prefer and then that way they are comfortable. My mother and FMIL both opted out of wearing flowers because they feel that they are too young to wear them lol so only our grandmother's will have them.
Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.
They don't have a preference they are asking me so I was just trying to get a feel. The only thing they preferred is that they are made of artificial flowers so they can keep them.
My mother & aunt wasn't trying to have ANYTHING on thier dresses.. they wanted to show it off to the fullest.. so the wrist corsage was thier choice.
I also did a wrist corsage for one of my ushers.. she really didn't have to agree to do it, and she is hubby's big cousin, so I honored her in that way.

I'm doing wrist corsages except for my grandma, she's having a silk pin on (can't do real flowers). I decided on wrist corsages because if you are anything like my mom, that pin on corsage will just throw the entire dress OFF! I HATE corsages as it is, BUT if its a must.....wrist it will be.

In regards to this.....anybody who is there BETTA know who the moms are. So the corsage, IMO, is just a traditional piece.

See that's what I'm thinking about. His distant family and my distant family haven't seen the moms. Our coworkers won't really know who they are. But I guess it would be obvious huh?

Like most pp I'm doing wrist corsages. My mom is a diva of them all..she def don't want nothing on her dress..as for FMIL she is plain jane..no diva at all lol but I'm going to ask her which do she perfer because I'm doing there's silk as well ! And must like mom my grandma is diva too she's my dad mom once again his grandma not so diva ! Lol
I WAS doing pin on corsages for my mom, grandma and FMIL BUT my mom has a broach on her dress so I'm changing hers only to a wrist corsage. She loves her dress and the broach matches her other jewelry so wrist corsage it is!
Thanks ladies! Ok I'm thinking wrist for mom's and pin for grandma's. Both grandma's have weird issues with their hands....swelling and all that so we will just avoid that area!
Re: Mother's corsages...pin or wrist
I think it's a personal preference. My mom wanted a pin, MIL wanted a wrist corsage. Maybe see if they have preference.
I also did a wrist corsage for one of my ushers.. she really didn't have to agree to do it, and she is hubby's big cousin, so I honored her in that way.
