I just finalized rehearsal dinner location. Do people normally send out invites or just let everyone know throught phone, email, text?

    I sent out invitations that I printed myself using a kit from Michael's.  You can also get nice invitations cheap at VistaPrint (I actually did that originally but then our RD venue changed and I didn't have time to get them reprinted).

    I think most people do invites. One of our friends used PaperlessPost which I love, but then you need everyone's email addresses.
