Flower Costs

Is $750 plus tax and shipping a good price for 1 bridal bouquot, 2 bridesmaids, 2 flowergirlss, six pomanders, 2 bouts, 2 moms corsages, and 7 small-medium centerpieces.

Don't know if I should get another quote by Donna at cental market.  Does anyone know/think that she would be any cheaper?

Thanks.

It will depend on what flowers you're looking for.  If nothing else, I'd at least call her to get a quote over the phone.  She did our wedding and our flowers were beautiful and the orchids from our centerpieces finally bit the dust yesterday and our wedding was 3/19!  Her prices were great too.

What kind of flowers were included in the first quote?

Donna saved me a great deal of money on roses for my wedding.  I'd give her a call before ordering the $750 flowers.  Alot depends upon the type of flowers you want for your wedding.

I agree with PP that it depends on the flowers you decide on.  I would also give Rebecca at Wild Poppy a call.  She was by far the cheapest I found, including Central Market.

Agree with PPs, it depends on the flowers. If you don't really care about flowers and want a cheap price, tell your floral vendor that. I told my florist the colors I want and showed her some inspiration pics, and I'm leaving the flowers up to her (I did tell her no carnations).

I used Rebekah with the Glass Fountain and my flowers were gorgeous.  I only paid $500 for 1 bridal bouquet, 1 toss bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 7 groomsman bouts, 1 grooms bout, 4 grandfather bouts, 3 dad bouts, 5 grandmother corsages, 3 mothers corsages and Rebekah even left some extra corsages.  I used gerbera daisys, roses, calla lillys, and stephanotis flowers.  That included delivery to Georgetown.

That's who I'm quoting this from.  I guess the cost of the centerpieces and pomanders drove the price up.  I'm mainly using hydrangas and dalias.
