Using your first post ever to promo a fitness instructor comes across as majorly vendor-like.  Advertising is not allowed on TK message boards.
  • Well that was rather rude....I'm sorry? It wasn't meant to be "vendor like" and I wasn't "advertising". I'm just excited about and love the website and thought it would be a good site to share with everyone. Didn't realize that sharing my enthusiasm about something would be considered something that was not allowed on the board.

Sharing enthusiasm is always allowed, but you have to understand that every day we get people posting on this board for the first time exclusively to sell their products, promo their blogs, and plug their fitness plans.  This gets quite old and IS against the TOS agreed to upon creating an account.

It's just quite odd to have someone come in advertising a website who has never even said hi.  If someone walked up to you on the street saying exactly what you said, I'd expect to be handed a pamphlet.  Now, if one of the ladies who already was a part of the community decided to advertise for something they loved, then it would come off as enthusiasm only.  Do you see what i mean?
  • I do see what you mean, however this isn't a street in a community, this is a message board that was made for exactly the type of post I made so I don't 100% agree with you & thats ok. I assumed by being a member of the website I would automatically be accepted as a member of the community not an outsider and I did not exactly feel the need to introduce myself. I'm truly sorry if my not introducing myself offended you or made you suspicious, I was just sharing something i felt to be relevant to the boards and helpful. I'll make sure to watch the way I word things and how I start a topic off next time.
  • I follow Cassey's blog on Pop Pilates. I discovered her through guest posts on other blogs that I read (mostly Fitnessista).

Her videos are good, however, I've been disappointed recently with her blog posts, since they have been more about fashion and running her yoga bag business than fitness. Not having the same body type as her, I can't really relate to her fashion.
