I cannot locate a flower girl dress I like comes in purple. So I am considering dying an adorable white dresses for my cousin.

Anyone know which dye to buy? Any tips or tricks?

Before you buy and dye... check out etsy for flower girl styles they have a lot of cute dresses on there and they are often times in alternative colors! Here are a few examples that I found (and a lot of them are customizable if it's not the right shade of purple... and are less expensive than the one your found at DB...)

It's going to be trickier to dye a polyester dress than it would be to dye a cotton/natural fiber dress. You might be better off buying one of the cute ones off of etsy, but I'll try to find a good polyster-specific tutorial JIC.

Most laundromats prohibit dying, but you can use a large stock pot. The dye won't ruin it.
