I have groupon and living social on my phone apps, but I live so far out in the boonies that they never usually apply to me Unless I want to drive an hour and a half to seattle for a massage/hair salon etc. Occasionally I can score a deal though.
I got LivingSocial deals for: a sushi restaurant, a yoga studio, a nail salon ($25 for eyebrow wax, mani & pedi), $10 for $50 at vistaprint, 2 movie tickets for $9 through fandango, $10 for $20 at amazon.com, and a cleaning service
I've used Groupon for: A different Yoga Studio, & $40 for $100 worth of framing at a local frame shop (which we've used before and they do great work!)
Of all of these the only that are unused as of yet are vistaprint (saving for invites), movie tickets (waiting for a movie worth seeing), and one of the yoga studios.

I bought paddle boarding rentals, sushi dinners, pilates/dance classes off of livingsocial, zozi is another site like living social that I am a member of. I also frequent Ideeli and sometimes Rue lala. I haven't heard of Heartsy yet. Hmmm something else to check out.
I am a member of Groupon, but they tend to have crappy deals. Like a round trip bus ride that takes 3.5 hours each way. Why would anyone want to do that?!?

I lust after lots on Heartsy, but never buy -- it's too much of a random crapshoot what's for sale. I've bought an Amazon card and a waxing coupon off Living Social.

They feature various sellers whose products are on average of 50-60% off. Clothing. Jewelry. Home goods. Paper goods. The whole 9 yards...
Sarah - you are tough! I am a normal Brazillian girl and I swear to you the time I got my legs done was super painful! Especially when they went near the ankles and shins - ouch!
I live in a big small town, so groupon has a lot of stuff in my area, but living social did not have a separate section for Rockford, just one for Chicago, which is about 70 miles away and too far to go for deals. But I have gotten a few for restaraunts around here for like 50% off, and mani/pedis for $25. I like seeing what the deals are in my email every day.

I use Groupon and Living Social all of the time! It's how FI and I do most of our dates. Haven't heard of Heatsy. I'll have to check it out.
