Wedding Woes

Speaking of panties.

Husband mentioned he washed a load of underwear yesterday because when he got up he noticed he was out of underwear. Completely. It's only been two weeks since I last completely did laundry, right before we left for a weekend to see his parents. I was aghast that he diesn't even have 2 weeks worth of underwear. so i am wondering, how much of a supply do you all have?

I voted herp derp because I have about 2 months worth. I used to love shopping for panties and victorias secret gives me a free pair like once a month in addition to the ones I buy...so they've piled up.

I've got about three weeks, not counting my fancy panties. I need to get Husband more underwear tomorrow before we go out of town again. He is down to 10 or 11 pairs I think the count is. Which is crazy.

I clicked on 3 weeks, but that is only because I recently did a big purge of everything I don't love wearing.  Before that I could go about twice as long, but I would be a little pinchy half the time.

H on the other hand has less than two weeks.  If I buy more for him, he throws others away because he likes all of his underpants to fit in this one tiny drawer along with all of his undershirts.

[QUOTE]you know, jojo, i find myself scratching my head with H about his underwear supply also. he won;t even notice that he can see the bottom of his drawer until it's completely empty.

<div>Exactly! I don't understand how it is he woke up the morning before, grabbed the last pair, and didn't think to wash them that night. And we just got him new shirts for work, I asked if he needed underwear and he said no, not counting the handful of apirs he has apparently trashed in the last couple of months because the elastice gave out. You don't think maybe you should replace those?</div>

I used to keep a few in a "secret reserve" for him because he wouldn't notice until he was out, but he is a lot better now.

However he still never notices that he is out of medicine until ge goes to take it and the bottle is empty.  We had to switch to a 24 hour pharmacy because of this.  The overnight pharmacist knows him well.

I think this is more of a male trait than female.  My H does the same thing and not just about underwear.  I can't tell you how many times we've had this conversation about groceries, deodorant, shampoo, etc.

I feel ashamed of myself. I hate buying underwear and bras. I think I have maybe 2 weeks. But that said, I wear like 2 pairs a day so that's part of my problem. I am not a dirty person, I just change when I get up an bring The Boy to daycare. Over lunch, I shower and dress and put a new pair on. So maybe I have more, I don't know. This is way longer than it should be, and more information than I should probably be sharing.

H has a week and a half worth, maybe. I have to do laundry once a week and this is the reason for it. I have heard of many single guys who only do their laundry when they are out of underwear, the day they are wearing their last pair.

I have at least a months worth.  I used to get a really good deal at La Senza.  I only have a week's worth of bras though (I really need to get some more).
