Wichita Venue Ideas

I am looking for a place to have both my wedding and reception at but we are planning a quick wedding, less then 3 months away.  I have looked at the Hyatt and the Hilton and am impressed with both but there aren't alot of pictures online to look at.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a Wichita wedding/reception and any pictures of the venues all set up that they are willing to share?

Thanks!

Corporate Caters is a nice place like the Hyatt and Hilton and is inside and food is excellent. Botanica Gardens is an outside place and is pretty in summer but very simple looking place and they also have a modern reception building. The Petroleum Club is inside and is really, really nice if you have the money to afford it, it's on the top floor of a building looking out over the city.  The Grand Chapel and Century Center are not nice on the outside but awesome on the inside.  Crestview Country Club, Tallgrass Country Club, and Wichita Country Club are all really nice with great food, too.

Nativity Pines in Benton, KS. Set out in the country just north of Wichita.

It depends on how much money you are wanting to spend & I have no idea how the availability of these places are, but here are some ideas in which some of them have already been mentioned.

Cow Town, Exploration Place, The Grand Chapel, Botanical Gardens, Tallgrass Country Club, The Boulevard, Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, Crown Uptown Theatre, Abode, Le Venue (Valley Center), just to name a few.

I am having my reception at the Museum of World Treasures, but they have done weddings there before. They have like one picture of their event room on their website. It is affordable and a REALLY cool venue- you get full access to the museum. The event room is on the top floor. There is a really cool staircase that people have gotten married on in the past. There is also a courtyard out front that is really pretty if you want the wedding and reception in seperate locations, but that land is owned by the city so you would have to get permission to use it. It is worth looking into! I looked at several places before choosing the Museum, so let me know if you still need help!

We're holding ours next fall at Eberly Farm. It's BEAUTIFUL, but the weekends book over a year in advance. I know they still had a Sunday in Oct. this year available as recently as a few weeks ago though.

My fiancee and I are currently living outside the counrty and are planninga May 2012 wedding in Wichita. I am not from that area and I'm looking at ideas for outdoor ceremony ideas, we already have the reception site picked out. Help?

Abode can do both a ceremony and reception. They are fairly new, and may have availibility.
