Ok ladies, I am spending way to much time thinking about this so I figured I should see what other brides think.

We have 8 people in our WP plus FI and I so we need transportation for 10.

I have been told we should look for a 12-14 passenger limo to realisticly fit everyone in formal wear. Sounds reasonable enough.

After looking around, we keep coming back to a Mercedes Sprinter because the inside is sweet and you can actually stand up inside (FI and his boys are all 6ft).

So I'm just wondering, is it too weird looking? I feel like its a Harry Potter knight bus or something. FI says it's fine. I always pictured a traditional white limo, so I'm just having a hard time envisioning this outside the church. Am I just being silly? Here's what it looks like:

Haha, I love the Harry Potter reference.

I think it's fine... it looks quite comfortable/decked out inside! For me, the transportation isn't that crucial... there won't be many pictures of it.

We're taking a school bus, so I'm obviously not too worried about how it looks

We have 9 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, and us, so there wasn't much we could fit into that wasn't ridiculously priced.

I think it looks cool! And the inside looks AWESOME! Definitely go for it !

That's looks so awesome inside. A white limo was important to me so we're doing an 8 pass. limo and my FI and his groomsmen are driving their cars (FI's parents are actually driving him which will be nice). My best friend got married and did this. It was great because the groomsmen brought the bridesmaids to the reception and my friend and her new husband got to steal a few minutes alone together after the ceremony. I can't wait for that part

In your situation, I say go for it!! It looks fun, will fit everyone, and meets your needs financially so it sounds great!

Haha, I DO think those things are kinda spacey looking, but I think it will be fun. You can take fun pics inside, and walking out the door. No one has to get the front. Or you can get geeky with it and do some kind of HP thing in pictures. (I've never seen HP, so I wouldn't know what to do)

IF it makes you feel better this is what we rented. It fits 20 people. We'll also probably have them pick people up after and bring them back to the hotel.

My reasoning for wanting this is in 3 of the weddings I have been in someone always messes up their dress, whether it be on their own or someone else stepping on it. Plus I love that it comes with its own coolers under the seat so we can take it out for a spin and have a few drink with the wedding party.

I think it looks a little odd from the outside, but it's pretty sweet on the inside. I really doubt there will be very many photos of it, so I say go for it. We aren't providing transportation for our bridal party, we're only getting a limo to take us from the reception to the hotel.

I also think it's a little weird looking on the outside but like PPs said, there probably won't be that many pictures of it. And to me, the roominess inside trumps what it looks like on the outside, so I say go for it.

Thanks for all the input ladies, I'm starting to think the goofy exterior isn't really a big deal. And as FI pointed out, it's not like we will be posing in front of the it like prom anyways. LOL
