Nope but I was planning on having my bachelorette party dinner there. Don't think that's happening anymore, I need to check with my MoH lol. I know they can host up to 50 though if that helps.
Getting married at IP.
I haven't chosen the restaurant yet.. My wedding is a ways away, but am slowly looking into reception locations. Only problem is I'm inviting more than 50, and have no clue on what the turnout will be. So our group may be too big
I have been to the sugar factory several times and I love it there! It's very nice and the food is great. We were thinking about doing the reception there but according to my fiance who got the information about pricing and such, they had a lot of hamburger and average food on their reception menus. We decided to do sugar factory for the bachelorette party instead of the reception because it seems like a much more appropriate atmosphere for that versus a formalsh reception.
sarah did you have to do a minimum? to rent the lounge? emiia cool im thinking IP too just not sure ours isnt till next year so we taking a trip later in year to go through venues. i talked to dana bout taking the burgers off cause my daughter doesnt eat red meat so im tring to get seafood added instead we will see
Do they for sure only do up to 50 people? I'm inviting 60 but have no clue if the attendee count will be in the high or low side.
SouthernCutie what other places are you considering? I'm highly considering Le Village and Wicked Spoon too. And looking at any places known for having amazing burgers
maybe el segundo lol not really sure they also do a candy goodie bag for $8 per person and we can bring in stuff too im checking see what kind candy if you want her email i can give it to you.. or go online and email her she is pretty good bout emailing back unless she is off because she doesnt have a set schedule
I'm creating my own shareable menu. We have 20 people so we were going to order a bunch of sliders, mac n cheese pops, pizzas and sundaes for the table to share!
yep i saw. im looking at el segundo cause of the privacy and the fact a lil cheaper. they also have several rooms with diff max capacity. im not sure where else to look. italian is out because my daughter doesnt eat tomato sauce or meat and a lot of italian are tomato base
Try not to pick a peak time if you do decide to do it there. I went there with my FI alone and we had a great time and great service...then we went again with a bigger group of people (maybe 8) when it was busy and the food and service was HORRENDOUS! I work in the industry and so I tried to be understanding of our server etc. and how busy it was, but a lot of what happened was above and beyond what you'd even expect if it was busy. The manager apologized and comped about 80 dollars of our stuff but we still got cold food after waiting an hour.
Not trying to rain on your parade just giving my honest experience!
