  I think it's really cute! If there aren't enough cupcakes for all your guests in that one 'cake' you could do cute little tiers alongside.

  Thats what Im doing!  One of my friends is making me sunflower cupcakes so I will just have a professional make me the top tier for us to cut into.

  We're planning to do cupcakes also, with dessert buffet.  Very excited about it, though haven't decided whether to do just one type of cupcake or multiple.

  We're doing cupcakes too, with a tree stump "cake" stand. Haven't thought of flavors yet, but I'd like to have 3 or so. I don't think we'll have a small tier on the top to cut, as we're not doing a lot of "traditional" things...the cake cutting being one of them.
  
  Since both of us have been through a wedding before, we know what we can get rid of and what is really important. Like the ceremony

  This is what I wanted to do before FI shot it down. He doesn't like the idea but the one he came up with is AMAZING so I guess I can compromise. But I love this idea. Please, someone do this and take tons of pictures so I can drool in envy.
