Engagement Photo Outdoor Locations?

Anyone know of good places for engagement photos in Austin that has tall grass, some trees, dirt road? Kind of rustic looking?

    You should just drive out on 2222 or 71 and find some pretty private property and hop the fence. Kidding. Kind of. There are parks in South, East and North Austin and even some golf courses that would be good. The Greenbelt near Barton Creek has some cool fields and paths/roads. A friend of mine found a subdivision under construction off Oltorf and used the open spaces but still unpaved roads for that kind of rustic feel.

    We just had a 1st run on our pics at Redbud Isle... they had a long very wide path that the trees just grow over like a canopy. If you head further out on Lake Travis parks like Muleshoe Bend, Grelle and Pace Bend all have these same photo ops.

    Gruene Texas is awesome for that kind of stuff. It's a little North of New Braunfels so about 60 min south of austin, but it is super cute and very rustic. You'll probably want to go during the week or early morning though because it gets pretty packed on the weekends.
