Superbowl Sunday!

So far all I've done is watch 3 episodes of my brand new addiction, Downton Abbey, and make a large dent in the spinach dip I made for tonight.

Sounds like a legit way to spend a Sunday morning.

(Did I mention H is OOT and I'm flying solo?)

Re: Superbowl Sunday!

  • I did 1.5 mi running on the treadmill this morning :)
  • I worked out first thing this morning, then had breakfast with my parents, brother & his girlfriend.

FI is out with friends for the superbowl and I could care less. I plan on starting Downtown Abbey and work on the scarf I'm knitting for my grandma :) if I feel crazy, maybe start addressing our STDs.
  • Church was cancelled, so H and I went out and played in the snow. Now he;s playing Lego LOTR and I'm pondering dinner.

I love Downton Abbey. It's absurd: I never get addicted to tv shows to the point that I know when they come on and wait for new episodes, especially dramatic shows. But oh snap. H ordered them on BluRay for me so my heart won't have to deal with the suspense. They should be here this week sometime.

How far in are you, Swag?

  • I watched the first episode late last night, and I'm about to start the 7th and final episode of the first season right now. Combine that with some killer cramps I'm fighting, and I'm not going anywhere for the superbowl.

Downton Abbey is literally all I've been doing all day.
  • Downton Abbey is the best way to spend the day. The season 2 premiere is super intense, iirc. Season 3 is awesome so far.

    Hope you feel better

  • I'm starting the first episode now!
  • Glad to hear I'm not the only one home on my own! I've been doing school work and cleaning all afternoon. I still can't believe that FI went over to his buddy's house at 3 for a game that doesn't start until 7, I just don't get it, LOL!

I got off of work at 7:30 this morning...slept, and now I'm back at work. We all decided to bring super bowl type food to work since we have to work! Nothing that night labor and delivery nurses love more than an excuse to bring lots of yummy food to work! Lol we have a couple patients in labor but so far everyone seems to be staying home (the patients, that is!)! We always bring in food on the weekends anyway because the cafeteria doesn't open! Apparently the hospital thinks we don't need to eat on the weekends! On weekdays it's open from midnight til 2 am but not on weekends. Weird. It's hard to watch the wedding dress diet around here on weekends!
