Help me make a giant celery stalk please

I am thinking I'm going to be a Bloody Mary for Halloween. I have a red dress (not slutty thankyouverymuch), a name tag that says Mary, and I want to fashion up some sort of large celery stick. Any ideas? I wanted to cut a foam swimming fun noodle but I can't find any in Colorado this time of year. What can I make that looks like a 3 ft celery stalk? Preferably something light I can carry around at the bar and smack asses with. Thanks!

Omg that is a fabulous idea

If you go into a hardware store they often have rubber/styrofoam tubes that go around (I don't know what). They are about 4' long and you could probably spray paint it green.

Hmmmm. I tried googling and came up with nothing. I would just carry around a real celery stalk and be done with it. But I'm kind of lame like that.

ETA: Katie's idea is much better.

Or you could get fake blood and splatter it all over yourself.. then you'd be bloody mary.. you just wouldn't look like the drink. lol

Yes! I knew you guys would be a tremendous help. I will look for above items first thing in the morning, and as a backup I can always buy real celery (didn't even think of that).

One more question: I bought a styrofoam sword that I would like to put a giant green olive on. Any suggestion for making an olive?

Just get a big styofoam ball from a craft store and paint it!

Or get a green balloon and tie it onto the stick, but it might get popped.

I don't think I've ever ordered more than 2 bloody mary's from a bar, why risk it? I definitely wouldn't do it at night, too skerrry.

It is! I hate to admit it but my mom (and her doctor) seem to be right about having an intolerance. No pregnancy yet but fertility signs are up so that's good. Insomnia is completely gone and I'm losing weight again. It's funny because bread doesn't even taste good anymore. It's just this gooey, doughy, bleh.

Oh! And you could get already green ones! If you go into a JoAnne fabric of Michaels go to the floral department and they will have green styrofoam balls.

I'm so glad to hear about the positive changes! No matter who's idea it was, heh heh. Get on up there fetility signs! I can't believe it resolved your insomnia too, that is amazing.

I will be at Michaels first thing in the morning.l That will be so easy to paint a red spot for the pimento and slide it onto the sword. Gracias!

That's actually a good idea, it would be the right height to be a celery stalk sticking out of the glass. I love me some spray paint too.
