  I think it's a cute idea, but like most favors, people aren't going to know what to do with them after the wedding.  Why not do edible good luck charms?  Like a four leaf clover, or a horse shoe, either a cookie or candy in those shapes.

  I agree. I wouldn't know what to do with something like that and it would end up in the trash. I like the edible idea.

  I agree with PP - cookies or chocolates in the shape of four leaf clovers or horseshoes would go over better with your guests. - The clover chocolate could be Irish cream flavoured!  yummmmmm

  I really appreciate your feedback.  We have made the final decision to go with the pewter charms.  We thought about edible but everytime we have gotten edible favors everyone at the wedding complained that they really didn't taste good and we agreed.  They also ended up in the trash.  I really don't mind if my favors end up there either.  But if two people (out of 250) find them "charming" and keep them in their purse/pocket for a while I am happy with that.
