How's everyone doing today? It's so quiet here lately! Anyone get anything big done over the weekend?

We finished our seating chart for the AHR which was surprisingly easier than expected. We also ordered our rings!! So glad to have that done.

Need to type up the seating chart and send it to my mom so she can finish escort cards while I'm watching The Voice tonight.

What's everyone else up to?

    Nice! Wedding band shopping is the one thing FI is excited to do. We really need to pick out his suit, and GM outfits, and trying to get him shopping is like pulling fingernails. 

    Otherwise, not much wedding related going on right now. Some family that can't make it to wedding in March want to throw us an engagement party/AHR/general celebration over Thanksgiving weekend since people will be in town already. It's super sweet of them, but I don't think they realize how many people would come. We're trying to put together a guest list that isn't overwhelming, but won't leave out important people. Ugh. 

    I ordered some starfish to attempt to make bouts, so we'll see how that goes. Some days my craft juices flow, some days I'm all thumbs.

    Cevans I feel your pain with the whole getting FI to shop!  It took us quite a while to figure out his and GM's outfits.  He totally hates shopping!  We still have to get him some shoes, which I might just do on my own..haha!  Good luck with the bouts!

    I feel like I have so much to do but am kind of in a holding pattern for another week until somethings are finalized!  I have a feeling November is going to be a crazy, busy month for me!  I am trying so hard not to have that happen, but I am starting to think that is impossible!

    Hi All-

    We sent out emails to everyone that our date is selected / location is selected. People are asking about hotel blocks and pre-wedding activities already!! I guess we should get on that. LOL.

    We do have our list of addresses almost complete so that is great. I think we will try to order our STDs in the next day or so.

    I really, really have to make some appointments to go dress shopping! That will be my to do tomorrow I think.

    Other than that - we are happy after watching the Packers finally return to form last night! And it has been sunny all day today - hopefully that sticks around the whole week. We are starting to get to the point of the year where Wisconsin fades to grey everywhere and I'm hoping it will hold off as long as possible!!

    What is it with men and shopping?!? I sent FI out with my brother to get their outfits. FI bought something, but now claims he doesn't like it and wants something else. I keep nagging (hey, sometimes you have to!) at him to get something and he says he's "still deciding" HELLO we're leaving in 20 days, let's go here!! He also got my brother pants that were 2 sizes too big because "I didn't know we had to try stuff on". Men.

    I hear you ladies with men and shopping. I find it easiest if I go ahead of time, pick out 2-4 options that I like, then when we actaully go shopping I know hwere they are and FI doens't have to "waste" time trying on a bunch. We were able to pick out his outfit in about 20 minutes this way. However, he never did choose any shoes, so good luck to him finding some.

    I feeling like I haven't gotten anything done in awhile, but one of these days my corrected RSVP cards will show up and I can send out the invites.

    OMG - I think I will tell FI to go shopping with his brother. I don't think I could handle it - he is a total girl when it comes to shopping. He will try on 20 billion different things and find a reason not to buy any of them. Then something will catch his eye and he will be off window shopping for some random stuff and totally forget what he was looking for in the first place.

    We once went shopping for some hiking shoes the MORNING of a road trip out to Colorado. We had planned to be on the road by 10am. Ran by the store at 9am because he just HAD to get some shoes since his didn't fit anymore. We didn't get out of the store until 2PM!!! I just about killed him at that point. Oh - and the shoes? He didn't buy them and just ended up wearing his old pair that apparently actually fit him just fine.

    I picture lots of trips to return the random things he will pick up in my near future. Undecided

    LOL, I'm so glad it's not just my FI. We've basically decided on what the guys are wearing, it's literally just a matter of going to the store to see the options in person. A 1-2 hour trip max. I should probably just go by myself, but if I do that, then he'll have an opinion on whatever I pick out. Sigh.

    I am  laughing so hard at all the men and shopping post but I am right there with you guys!! Hubby said we are going rings shopping Nov 1-2 and he says he is getting his Wedding gear this month but we will see cause his birthday is coming up and I heard theyre taking a big trip to Orlando so they can play zombie apocolypse* paintball  whatever and go out on the town...

    As for the rest of this week I am knee deep in presentations and class discussions.. But I will finally  get my dress fitting this thursday ( had to cancel last week because of work) :)

    My Fiance could care less about shopping haha.  I know I will be picking his suit.  

    As for what we did today.  We went to my foot doctor and they are wanting to do surgery sometime in the next month or two.  Which means I need to take off a month from work and live in our bedroom and bed that entire time.

    I am not sure how my FI will do but I will have to take him or it won't get done. I am sure he will be antsy/annoyed. FI just finally woke up so we are headed to subway since his parents cancelled dinner. Did some shopping for our soon to be new niece. Scoped out possible registry items my sister called wanting to throw a bridal shower in March. I am nt much for being the center of attention. Have a great night ladies!
