TGIF!

I think I'm getting holiday shopping fever.  For myself.  This cold weather has me lusting after so many things online!  Sweaters.  Shimmery nail polish.  All sorts of useless stuff.  BAH!   It's hard to resist the urge to shop when deals like the Sephora F&F discount float across your screen.

How's everyone else doing this Friday?

I'm doing good! I'm right there with you with the wanting to shop for myself thing.

I keep trying to come up with things for a Christmas list, and they're all things I can afford now and don't want to wait for. Like new gym shoes. I only have one pair, they're a half-size too big, and they're white shoes that are covered in red dirt from wearing them ziplining in Hawaii.

I"m sooooooo glad it's Friday.  It's been a long crazy week! I only have a half day today since I worked a long day on Tuesday.

I understand about wanting to shop! I actually ddi last week when Old Navy was having their stuff and save sale.  Got 40% off everything.  Got a bunch of sweaters. All my ones from last year were swimming on me, so I HAD to get new ones.

Tanq- You made me want new shimmery nail polish!

Brea- Think up something big! Like a trip to Maui... Next July!!!

I've pretty much got my Christmas shopping done.  Just have to pick up my daughter's main gift.

A little tired got up early to get to the gym before work. Can't wait for work to be over so I can get to Vegas for a friend's bachelorette weekend in sin city! We are taking her to go see thunder down under. Hahaha I have missed this board. Hurry up Friday afternoon! Tanq I'm with you in the shopping for sweaters. I have made a pact to live in sweater dresses this winter.

Tanq~ I just bought 3 new China Glaze shimmery nail polish and crackle.  I can't wait to play with the colors!  I need to check out Sephora's make up.  I wear Bare Minerals and peeps on the beauty board told me it won't picture well, so I need to start trying out new makeup!

Brea~Did you like ziplining?  I saw it in Cabo when I was there a few years ago but I chickened out.

Kimmy~I love when you HAVE to get new clothes!!

Lyn~Have a great time in Vegas!

We ziplined in Costa Rica on the HM and it was AMAZING.  The longest line was a mile long which was just simply incredible.

Lyn - have fun in Vegas!   I'll be there in a few weeks for a wedding but I generally feel I am way too old for that city (or maybe just way too broke to do it the way I'd like to).

Oh man, if I had a F&F discount at Sephora, I would be in a LOT of trouble!  I love that store!

Hey! I've had a crazy week at work - we're rehearsing for the Remembrance Day assembly at school until 7:00 pm these days, I take drama classes at uni Wednesdays and Saturdays (I'm getting my specialist in the subject), and it's report card season (shoot me now!).

Sooo... pretty much, I've got plans that involve a bottle of wine and the couch tonight.

Joanna blogged our anniversary shoot photos the other day too:

Aaaaand, I totally hear you on the Christmas shopping! I refuse to do anything before advent begins - but I'm pumped to get started.

I love these pictures so much, Alyson.  You guys are so adorable together and just look beyond happy.  I don't think I'll ever get tired of them!

I think my Christmas list is done and dusted--my family is CRAZY about Christmas :)

    Tanq-Thanks for the Clinique link!

Alyson--I totally feel you with report season! My dept head told me I had two weeks to grade all of Year 9's English papers, then changed her mind to less than a week to meet reporting deadlines.  And, then, after I had done them all Wed-Fri, confessed she wouldn't start mapping grades until the following Monday.  She's lovely, but I'm just worn out!

In other news, it's only 27 days until we leave for our big "honeymoon," and I've broken down and gotten a personal trainer...

    Enjoy your weekends ladies!

We got married so close to Christmas, that we couldn't go anywhere for very long--just a week on the Big Island, which was GREAT, but we're big travellers, so we always imagined something more.

We're spending six weeks hopping around N. America; since we live in Australia, "going home" is the big annual thing to see family and friends, but we're trying to throw in some fun new places too, just for us.  It's not the Argentina trip we dreamed of, but I'm still really excited.  Especially as a die-hard Harry Potter fan, going to see Wizarding World with my little sister is going to be awesome!

    *Puerto Vallarta
    *Caribbean Cruise
    *Key West
    *Cancun
    *Disney World (with family)
    *Arizona (visit friends)
    *Vegas

Tanq--I totally feel you on maybe being too old or not enough cash to do Vegas as we would really like :) Glenn has been drooling over the themed suites at all the big resorts--a few grand a night, I don't think so.

Lyn--You gotta tell me how "Thunder Down Under" is, I think it'd be a hoot! Have fun!
