Budget beach wedding

Hi
I am getting married out on Block Island next June at a family member's house but we are on a tight budget. Any ideas of how to cut costs?

Limit the number of guests (this is the easiest way to cut costs).
    Skip centerpieces altogether.
Cash bar.  (Some think this is tacky - you decide.)
Small bridal party (fewer gifts, bouquets/bouts, etc.)
I heard clam bakes were more value for your money?
Don't get caught up in the little things b/c they can add up.  Buy wedding-related items ONLY if you're SURE you'll use/need them.

If you haven't picked a date yet you might want to consider a Friday or Sunday. Vendors will be cheaper on those days over a Saturday. There are lots of ways to cut your budget. I have saved a lot of money by hiring a couple vendors who are kind of new to the wedding business and therefore offer lower prices.

Print Invitations yourself....There are kits at Michaels or other craft stores that have pretty nice patterns on them.

    And everything jlsimon56 said!
