Candy buffet/bar question

Ladies,

For those of you doing candy buffets/bars, how many different types of candies are you doing?  I was thinking a couple chocolate, a couple hard types, something minty...

If you were a guest, what types of candies would you like to see?

Thanks!

I'm going to have about 20 different kinds, but instead of having a "candy buffet" I am having one type of candy at each table as the centerpiece. That way, I kill 2 birds with one stone, and people have a reason to socialize!

We bought 8 different size jars and bowl from Michaels.  We haven't figured out details yet, but are thinking personalized M&Ms and twizzlers for sure.  Other than that, we'll have hard candy, mints, and definitly chocolate.  :)  We're excited about the candy buffet, but don't want to make it too big (we anticipate about 80 people).
