Floral budget?

Is anyone else exasperated at the amount of money it costs for floral?  Any great ideas or vendor recommendations?  I have seen 6 designers and the pricing is out of this world!!!!

    I'm scared to even start looking at how much flowers cost.  I don't have a large bridal party but I do want exotic flowers.

    I do and whether your wedding is in the city itself or Queens, Brooklyn or LI try Designs By Rose.  Her work is amazing - she will work very hard to give you what you want in your budget.  Her designs belong in the city but her pricing is not.  I LOVE her!  check out her website at...

    if you have no car and have to travel by train she will pick you up and bring you to her studio.

    You can read excellent reviews on her - she and her mom are so accommodating.  She does not over book and she gets booked quickly, so give her a call.

    I had Oleander Flowers doing flowers decorations for my wedding and really loved them.  Call Diana 718 449 0404 and tell her Maya referred you, she has done both my wedding's and my sister's.  You will really love her work and she travels to locations in NY & NJ.  www.oleanderflowers.comIf you like, I can send the pics of my flowers they have done for me.  Good luck :)

    We used Heidi from Sugar Magnolia and our flowers were gorgeous!  She is a bit pricy but my mom was set on a lot of flowers (personally I didn't really care beyond our bouquets, but she insisted) so I let her take over the flowers.  All in all, we were very happy with our flowers (and so was my mom!).

    Emily Thompson Flowers. I used her and my budget was $800. much less than what she's used to doing, but she gave me lots of tricks to bring price down and do some stuff myself. I have pics of my bouquet and the venue here: www.foreverisntfree.blogspot.com

    jackie's florist in queens, we got all of our centerpieces (20) bridal bouquet, 9 bridesmaids, parents, groomsman, the piece for the alter and toss petals for under 2000, tell her your budget and she will work with you, bit eccentric but totally awesome, tell her michele d 7.2/11 sent you
