Booked my wedding at Park Savoy and am looking for tips on flowers, music, etc. Has anyone had their wedding there? I would love any thoughts and suggestions! Thanks!

    I went to a wedding at Park Savoy and they had Time Machine.. OMG they are amazing.. if you can swing it  book them!

    We just drove by the Park Savoy- is the wedding in that house near the street, or behind it on the grounds?

    The ceremony is in the back and cocktail hour is in and outside. It is really unique and different then the typical NJ wedding venue.

    Has anyone heard about the /Park Savoy closing for renovations at the end of 2011 and reopening for late March?

    Yes, they definitely are.  Currently, they can show you pictures/drawings of what the new ballroom, cocktail room and patio will look like. It seems like amazing changes but is a leap of faith for those booking in 2012.  Never-the-less it is still on our list of top 5 places!

    Hi everyone! My fiance and I recently booked our July 19, 2013 wedding at The Park Savoy Estate! I have always loved it there and knew I wanted to have my wedding reception there! Melanie assisted us and she was great - I look forward to working with her and the rest of the staff! Renovations are expected to be completed by the Spring of 2012 I believe. After touring The Park Savoy, we sat down with Melanie and she showed us several pictures of what the completed renovations will look like (we couldn't take them home or anything). I'm a little nervous being that I'm so picky, but everything I'm sure will be really beautiful! The Park Savoy now has the same owners as Nanina's in the Park and I know they're supposed to be amazing as well. I looked at some other venues first:

    ~The Madison Hotel - Conservatroy space was lovely
    ~Highlawn Pavilion - loved everything except T-shaped room
    ~The Bernards Inn - loved it but VERY pricey
    ~Crystal Plaza - loved it but also pretty pricey
    ~The Westminster Hotel - very clean and modern space 

    Overall, I LOVE The Park Savoy and Friday night prices were pretty reasonable (in my opinion)! I hope this all helps! Feel free to contact me with any questions! :)
