RSVP Rental????

I was thinking about renting high tables from RSVP rentals for my in suite reception and I emailed them about what size tables; when I recieved their reply email it stated that..."delivery pick up to a suite is $150.00 and I would have to clear it with Mandalay Bay"  I was wondering if anyone else has this issue or was quoted this delivery/pick up price?  Thanks!!

Re: RSVP Rental????

  • Ooooh, I was also planning on doing the same thing for my insuite reception at Mandalay Bay. I haven`t contacted them yet, so that is good to know. Might be worth picking up ourselves, as the cost to rent isnt very much. I would be interested in hearing what others have done. Thanks! When is your wedding?

  • I would also love to know the answer to this question.  We are getting married on Sept. 7, 2013 and doing an in suite reception as well.  I was planning on doing the same, ordering a few hightops.  We are getting married on Saturday and I am also worried we're going to have a problem returning on Sunday.  If anyone has done this before I would love to hear what u have to say!  **Thanks Greenyedgrl for posting this question!!!!

  • I had my reception in the Vista Suite at MB and used RSVP Rentals for the following:

1, 6ft banquet table and linen
3, high round cocktail tables, linens and ties
    2, tall bevergae containers
    2, coolers
    15, black folding chairs

I think that was it. We ended up paying the $150 delivery charge--it is so worth it not to have to deal with it. We didn't tell MB a SINGLE THING the whole time we were there and had zero problems. I would pay the delivery fee and not tell MB anything.

  • Well Congrats! What are some other vendors you are using? My wedding isn't until October 19th, but I'm freaking out already Smile.
Thanks krisstyle12, i agree actually. It would probably just be easier to have it delivered, I am all about reducing stress the day of. I am thinking of getting some day of co-ordinating from scheme events too. Just to not have to worry too much about everything!
