rehearsal dinner downtown?

Hi ladies,

This is driving me crazy.  I need to book this yesterday.  We need a place downtown... not super expensive and some place that has a private room.
Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hmmm....here are some thoughts:

    -Barley's (Private basement)
-Schmidt's (Not exactly downtown but they do have a private upstairs - we're actually having our rehearsal dinner there!)
    -Spaghetti Warehouse
-Elevator (Yum! So pretty there, and they are great with groups!)
    -Due Amici
    -Graystone Wine Cellar
-Barrio (Sooo good! And I think you can rent the upstairs for a private party)

    Good luck!! :)

We had our rehearsal dinner at Tony's Italian Ristorante.  They have some of the best Italian food I have ever had and are VERY reasonably priced. There is even free parking which is practically unheard of.  They have 2 private rooms and one of them allows the use of the patio for appetizers and drinks before dinner.  There was supposed to be another couple having their rehearsal dinner there the same night, but they never confirmed so we luckily got the use of the patio.  Our dinner option was priced at $15.95/person and I think it ended up being around $800 for 30 people (you could easily make that cheaper by cutting down on the appetizers or alcohol).  That included bruschetta and cheese and veggies on the patio, beer and wine service, roman bread appetizers, salads, a family style dinner of chicken parmigiana, penne marinara, and farfalle primavera AND desserts of tiramisu, chocolate amaretto cheesecake, carrot cake, and cannolis!  I cannot rave about Tony's enough....the service and the food are superb!  And you cannot beat that price....especially for a downtown location.

We are going to have our rehersal dinner at Due Amici as well. They have an amazing back room and a great variety of options as far as meals and pricing. Plus it is located close to our hotel and church.
